For more than 25 years, Bonnie Curry has been sharing her life, adventures and humor on the radio. She says, “I’ve always been a pretty open book and over the years, I’ve had some very funny stories to share. I’m happily married, I’ve raised two kids while working at a job I love. There’s been ups and downs and talking honestly about those moments keeps it real. I feel so blessed to get to talk to people and hear their stories. I like making that connection and playing music that encourages people. It’s real life and we’re living and sharing it together.”
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Bonnie spent most of her life in New Mexico and is as comfortable on a ranch as she is in the city. When she was 15, her pastor recommended she apply for a job at a local Christian radio station and she’s been in broadcasting ever since. She’s won many awards as a copywriter, producer and journalist and is considered one of the top female on-air personalities in radio. She is also a nationally recognized voice talent and can be heard on radio and television advertising around the country.
Bonnie has been married to Ernest, her high-school sweetheart, since 1986 and has two daughters: Erin and Staci. Her family is growing with a son-in-law and a new grand-baby, Gideon. She is an active member of her community and is passionate about helping many charities and organizations in Dallas/Fort Worth.
In her spare time, she loves to garden, travel and review movies. Her husband is a wonderful cook and she fully supports his talent by cleaning up the kitchen.
